Coronavirus Brings Out The Best In Our Community

Over the past five months the Food Bank has responded to over 420 requests for help, supplying over 600 crates of food to families and individuals in crisis.

And on 1st September we open our new premises at 85 Church Walk, Burgess Hill RH15 9BQ.

None of this would have been possible without the generosity of our donors and sponsors. From large companies to individuals, we couldn't do it without you, so this is where we say a huge Thank You to you all...

WAITROSE continue to offer invaluable ongoing support, hosting our food drives (hopefully starting again next year) and a food collecting bin, and donating extra food while food drives are suspended.

TESCO have also made recent generous donations of food

COOP host food collecting bins at their stores in London Road, Junction Road & Kings Weald in Burgess Hill, and in Hurstpierpoint

BUDGENS in Hassocks also have a food collection point

We also thank the local food businesses who donated their surplus food to go in our food parcels.

Many local companies and organisations helped with our new premises, sourcing the location, making financial contributions and providing materials and labour for the refurbishment.

Thank You to:

We'd also like to highlight the contribution of all the individuals who donate food to us week in week out - you are the foundation of our community food bank.

Thank you everyone.
